So yeah. I am baffled by all the Lisa-Hate I guess? I always loved her, she was pretty adorable. And Ben + Dean and Ben was awesome! Dean and KIDS what is not to like?

Anyways, I'm gonna try to be concise.

I do not think the writers were trying to say Lisa is honest to god the love of Dean's life.

Of course she isn't! He knew her one weekend. Likes her son and wishes Ben were his, yeah. She COULD be the love of his life if they got to know each other but dude, way too early to decide that.

Their point is (I think) that Dean is running out of time AGAIN and he goes back to Lisa AGAIN. She's the one 'normal life' type thing he's been exposed to that doesn't reject all possibility of a relationship after knowing what he does (like Cassie did). Basically, this woman he had a fun fling with (who also has a child that he wishes was his)...is what he sees as his ideal life. He barely knows her, knows she's sweet and fun and a good mom but THAT IS IT.

Dude. Does anyone not think that's really freakin sad? Thats so not even close to normal. That's like in the wish episode, that's like Carmen. That's like a family template that just needs him to step into the role of father and do what his father never did for him. He wants family that will love him SO BADLY right now and he thinks his only family, Sam, -doesn't- want him. And Lisa, however many years ago, asked him to stay. And Dean has pretty freaking selective memory sometimes.

I'm not saying he couldn't fall in love with her and marry her and be happy under better circumstances. But thats not what this is. This is sad, desperate, pathetic Dean. This is 'at the very end of his rope', 'burning at both ends', 'hit rock bottom and trying to dig lower', freaking RAN FROM HIS BROTHER, Dean.

He's clutching at any little thing that is...WAS in his life that was good. It totally makes me sick to my stomach to see Dean like this. :( DEAN STOP ITTTTT.

RE: CASSIE Yes he likes Lisa more than Cassie, Cassie was AGES ago and she burned him and then rejected him again after he saved her. Why are people thinking he still likes Cassie? When has there ever been any positive indication that he would want to be around her at all. Whereas with Lisa she asked him to stay and he reluctantly said no, and he dreamed about her, all the hints were there....and yet....Cassie still is on the radar to people? Whaaaat? I was in love with my first boyfriend too, ya know?

So yeah she's the only girl he's had any interest in that's shown up in more than one episode. She asked him to stay. She doesn't reject him because of what he does. It makes sense to me! IDK!
