Notes: I mentioned in my post for the fill that while I studied both the period AND the clothing/fashion in my school days I was never fond of the clothes AT ALL. I did some refresher research but in the end wound up going with some middle Dutch renaissance fashion for John and something aristocratic and English for Sherlock. It's atrociously inaccurate, as are their hairstyles, please forgive me!
OH. Also. Yes Sherlock is wearing tights, that is not a bare leg. SORRY.
